1. Can you tell us something about yourself?
“I’m Sasha Frate, Founder of Face the Current. I am a US Air Force veteran who served as a Russian linguist. I am fluent in four languages and semantics has always been a huge part of my life! That is why I think I gravitated to the information industry. With my passion for learning and sharing knowledge and perspectives with others, I started Face the Current magazine. I love my job, because I find it inspiring to connect with others who are following their flow and pursuing and exploring their passions. Their energy is vibrant and contagious and there are often a lot of incredible things to learn from the life experience and perspectives they have gained.’’
2. When and why did you start FtC Magazine?
“The first edition of Face the Current was issued in November 2016. I created Face the Current with the intention to inspire positive change in the world and enhance lives by encouraging one another to relentlessly discover, explore, question and learn from current and emerging information and perspectives. The effort has been driven by my deeply rooted love of learning, creative minds and a great appreciation for connection with other individuals who are passionate about what they do. I am so grateful that Face the Current has quickly developed into a growing team and global community of incredible people who believe in living life to the fullest and discovering their true potential.’’
3. What is FtC Magazine about?
‘’Face the Current (FtC) is a monthly aspirational, health-focused, lifestyle magazine delivering content on travel, culture, music, sports & fitness, health, and business from across the globe. Each month FtC captivates and entertains a global community with inspiring and motivating features on extraordinary people, places and products.Our readers compose a vast and growing community of like-minded individuals who wish to share in a broader, intelligent narrative of imagining, doing and becoming more.’’
