Life of a self-publisher is not always easy. You love writing and you spend months or maybe years on writing your book or magazine. Most self-publishers write during the evening or the weekend, when they have time off from their daily job. As an unknown writer, it is very hard to find a traditional publisher that will publish your book. Ordering a bunch of printed books and trying to sell them often is too much of a risk; it’s a hassle and it’s pricey. In the beginning of your self-publishing career, you would be happy if somebody actually read your book. You wouldn’t even dare to think about making a profit yet.

What if we told you that you only need a digital file to allow others to buy your book or magazine in print, it won’t cost you anything and you can make a profit from every sale you make? Even when you only sell one book, the profit is yours and you can decide how much profit you want to make. Curious? This is how you can sell your books and magazines via Peecho and set your profit:

1. To sell your books and magazines via Peecho, you need an account first. If you do not have an account yet, you can create it here.

2. Click on ‘’Publications’’ in the top menu of your personal dashboard and upload the file you want to offer for sale.

3. Now it’s time to set your profit. Click on the gear wheel next to ‘’Money’’ in the top menu of your dashboard.


Click on ‘’Catalogue’’ in the drop down menu. On this page, you can set the profit per product you want to offer in percentages. Pick the percentage you want and do not  forget to click on ‘’save scheme’’ at the bottom of the page.


Alternatively, you can set a fixed amount for your publication, click on ‘’go to custom settings’’ on the bottom of the page. Click on ‘’Details’’ next to the product you want to set the profit for. On this page you can change the price of your publication in order to set a fixed margin.

As soon as you have set this up, you can start selling your masterpiece! Let other people know that they can buy your book or magazine by using the print button or the print link. When you click on ‘’dashboard’’ in the top menu of your dashboard, you can see your balance and how much profit you made.
