Innovative blogger magazine ‘Read My Mind’ is now available in print
Lily Amis is nominated multi-genre author, blogger, artist and founder of blogger magazine Read My Mind. Her thought was: there are so many talented authors and bloggers, why not publish a magazine as a team?! And they did. In this interview, Lily tells us more about this innovative collaboration.
1. Can you tell us something about yourself?
‘’My name is Lily Amis, nominated multi-genre author, blogger, artist with degrees in Web publishing, PR and Marketing. I’m the Author of Destination: Freedom and ten more books. With my honest memoir I have enjoyed strong media exposure and public interest during the refugee crises in summer 2015. Placements included two features with British newspaper the Daily Mirror as well as interviews with popular UK’s lifestyle websites Female First and Frost Magazine.I had to fight against injustice, prejudice, discrimination and social isolation for almost three decades to become who I am today:An Independent author living in Switzerland with the goal to entertain and educate readers about important and eye-opening topics in our society with my books and now with my free blogger magazine Read My Mind.’’
2. When and why did you start blogger magazine Read My Mind?
‘’American author Erika M. Szabo inspired me with her monthly magazine to publish my own Online Magazine this year. I thought to myself there are so many talented and passionate authors and bloggers out there, why not publish a magazine together as a team. We have so much to say and we can bring joy and happiness into people’s life, especially in this uncertain time we live in.’’
3. What is Read My Mind about?
‘’Read My Mind is an exciting, new and innovative addition to the magazine market. It brings the collective talents of top published and self-published international authors and bloggers, with a fresh, new perspective on all aspects of life, travel, food and entertainment.
