Creative New Year’s Resolutions

2017 is over, and it’s time for a fresh start. For 2018, the Peecho team have decided to get creative, hence our awesome list of New Year’s Resolutions. What will your creative New Year’s Resolution be?

Take up photography

Capturing a really cool photo is such a thrill, and a perfect outlet for your creativity. If you’re not too sure it’s for you, and don’t want to start with a big investment in a camera, start by playing around with an Instagram account. Instagram is great for sparking your creativeness and starting with editing your snaps. Put filters on your photos and see which you think looks best. You’ll soon get addicted.photo-nic-co-uk-nic-193685

Start knitting

Doing something with our hands can be relaxing, particularly after staring at a computer screen all day. Put on a film and get those knitting needles out. Maybe you will work your way up to a bobble hat or even jumper, or perhaps like me you struggle with a simple scarf.

Learn to play the piano (or something else)

Many of us started learning musical instruments when we were children, but lost interest along the way. I’ve been inspired to join a choir after many nights in a karaoke bar. Whether you want to play a few tunes on the fiddle, or maybe you want to go all in and start a band, reconnecting with your musical side is an awesome New Year’s Resolution for 2018.

Gone are the days of reading every night to get to sleep. But not in 2018! Put the laptop away, turn your smartphone on silent, and start reading. Harpers Bazaar has named the 10 Best Books to read in 2018 to help get you started.

Be better at Photoshop!

Get writing

Letting your emotions out by putting pen to paper is fabulous, but perhaps a book is too much of a stretch at first. What about a poem or even a cheesy rap?

But of course….

There is always the not so creative New Year’s Resolution to do more sport and go to the gym. Lets see how long this one will last!Ready to start your Peecho story? Make an account with Peecho, upload your PDF and begin.
